ā€œflowers, one unlike all the others!Ā  She pulled, / stooped to pull harderā€

The word ā€œStooped” means to bend oneā€™s head. Although I have heard this word before it was difficult to put the definition in the line because it was a word that you seem to use but cannot exactly define it.

Unerring

Definition: invariablyĀ preciseĀ orĀ correct: perfect

Source: Words at Dictionary

Found in ā€œAmericaā€ by Claude McKay, Line 13

ā€œBeneath the touch of Timeā€™s unerring hand,/Like priceless treasures sinking in the sandā€

The word ā€œunerring means perfect, it helps me understand that the author was describing a hand to be perfect and precise.
