PLANS / SECTIONS/ ELEVATIONS

For Assignment 11 you will begin to draw your plans, sections, and elevations.
Take your massing and program, and translate them into architectural space through the conventions of architectural line drawing. Choose a drawing scale that allows you to fit one plan on an 11×17. This will likely be 1/4″ = 1′-0″, or 1/2″ = 1′-0″. Your sections and elevations should be at the same scale as your plan.
Continue to use your family concept to guide your work.
For Tuesday’s class, be ready to discuss with both your client and with me. Be prepared to post the assignment on the blog by Thursday.
