Research Homework
- Prepare a five-minute (2-3p.) oral presentation on one of the sites who will be visiting next class.
- Each student will pick one of the sites from the list linked spreadsheet. If one site is taken you need to select different one. You may propose your own site or research topic but you must get consent of the instructor first.

Use either the NY Times or Brownstoner to find an article about your selected site. If you find an article published in a magazine like Architectural Digest, that is also fine.
Next class (9/25) will meet at the corners of Jay and Front Streets.

This special topics course offers an interdisciplinary approach to investigating our built environment using a case study focused on a specific place each semester. This course combines physical examination with information research and data collection using methodologies developed in multiple disciplines. Students from a variety of departments engage in on-site exploration and in-depth research of a location in New York City.
