As I was reading this article, I thought this was extremely interesting: About one in 33 black men was in prison in 2006, compared with one in 205 white men and one in 79 Hispanic men. As Human Service workers we must go with what’s right and not take anyone’s side. We must follow the law and also advocate for individuals who are being discriminated against.
