This is our last semesterĀ and we had to do a service learning project, our group chose to do this at a Senior Center. We focused on Periodontal Disease, Oral hygiene Instructions, Gingival recession, Xerostomia, Denture Care and diet. This was a wonderful experience; the seniors were very interactive and involved, they had so many questions and wanted to learn more. At the end they said that they learned a lot of new information and they were very happy. This was a great and rewarding experience.Ā Attached is the presentation which we compiled to aid us in presenting the information.
