Overall,  I spent very long time to finished this project but I feel it is worth it. The most different was to have an idea and use one thing transfer to the other.  But when you have an idea, you can do it very fast.

Overall it took me very long time to finished it, and most difficult part was to get the ideas.

I chose this to paint form Narrow Value Range, the painting took me 2 and half hours, but I was enjoy during processed. Although, I love to paint but I was suffered of create two 6″ compositions that demonstrate a sense of moment, emphasis, and visual hierarchy. I can do it in two minutes with many ideas but hard to do it without ideas.

I took this picture as low-key value, because it has dark tones and few highlights. It make me  feels dull.

I selected this picture as high-key value, because the lighting that is bright.  Also as you can see, there is the contrast between red color and top and bottom color.  The other reason is, this picture makes me feel soft.

I spent at least 5 hours on this work. From layout to pencil drawing and then inking drawing. I feel it is has a lot of things could be done better.

I have more sketch of legato than staccato, I feel it is hard to make staccato.  All of the staccatos are kind of same. So I spent a lot of times to thinking different kind of staccatos.
