SONG – “Who’s Theme” by MINMI

Instrumental- Nujabes

Digital sketch, inked, and colored by me. This song (by MINMI) is played in one of my favorite anime Samurai Champloo. Its a chill songs, especial Nujabes (RIP) instrumentals which are mostly nostalgic. I added samurai, afro, retro vibes. As for abstract I used the smoke around him and the background color to incorporate that. I also added perspective ( I just free handed it by creating the head as a box), Shadow and highlights, add weight to the character outline to make him pop out. The one thing I like about this art I created is  how it just goes well with the others songs in the anime Samurai Champloo created by the MINMI and Nujabes for example “Shikki no uta – MINMI”.
