Gowanus Open Studios is this Saturday and Sunday in the Gowanus neighborhood in Brooklyn (along the canal between Carroll Gardens and Park Slope – two or three stops past CityTech). It’s a great way to meet artists and designers working in lots of different fields – this year we have over 500 artists participating across 98 locations! There’s no registration or entry fee to visit, and the organization even chartered some buses for Saturday so visitors won’t get stuck in the rain. If you’ve got free time and can get to the neighborhood, I hope you’ll come on by!
PS – My studio is at the Gowanus Studio Space if you want to swing by – my office is open and I’ll be popping in and out all weekend.
