I decided to chose one my top favorite UFC fighter Israel Adesanya he a 2x middleweight champ, who just been a inspiration for me. I wanted the patterns to be abstract so I just did my own crosshatching  for the light and the darkness of the portrait. But I really like how the light patterns turn out and how they really highlight him in the portrait.
