Though I like both ideas, I think you’re right, go with the one that engages you most.
As far as values go, I like 2 and 3… BUT neither one is using value to guide the viewer. Chose the most important places in the image that convey the message and give those a pop of contrast.
I have notes for your drawing! I cant put them in this thread so I am emailing them to you. You need photo reference.
