Greetings to all old and new! This is going to be an additional location where we will post all of our projects, announcements, among other things.
The main objective of using OpenLab is to allow participants of the club to easily publish their work to a portfolio. This way, students involved in the club can build up experience and show off their skills!
Right now, we are in the process of organizing everything. And when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING… Currently, we’re working to secure funding for flash drives, online tutorials, and anything that will be beneficial to club members. We’re also trying to get a computer lab for our club room, which will make it much easier for members to participate during club hours, instead of strictly working at home. And don’t worry, this time will be much more organized, we will have PowerPoints and activities planned beforehand, so no more sitting around doing nothing in that dingey old classroom! (Fingers crossed)
I will be updating with the process as it goes along, so I hope you’re as excited as I am, because this semester is going to be very different!
