I think the way books and journals were invented was from rolled Papyrus was a interesting fact. In time, they decided to fold the papaya paper and cover it with some sort of material. This allowed them to have more surface to write on, but also an easy way to transport their writing.

You’re correct, Julissa. The folded sheets made it a lot easier. One spelling clarification: the material was papyrus. Rolled papaya makes me think of edible books.
Eventually, parchment replaced papyrus.
