Garamond is perhaps considered dull and old-school these days. It is old school, but it’s such an elegant type that it’s one of my favorites. The capital “T” with its distinctive, angled serifs helps me identify Garamond.

I do love a Sans Serif to play off against Garamond’s timeless elegance. Although it’s sort of a cliché to use it these days, Avenir complements Garamond nicely.
