One line in the captions in the video grid that is helpful is “Create many columns (6, 8, 9, 12, or more) to allow narrow columns and wide columns to live on a single layout.” that way the columns don’t have to be boring when creating a layout of posters or pages . In the video hierarchy one line captions that is helpful is “Change the scale, weight, position, or color of text to reveal the structure” so we don’t have to underline and color the text. Ellen makes me want to do other things with the type fonts sizes either its italic or bold. in the third video type size the captions that stood out to me is “Two items can be the same size but distinguished by style, such as italic or small caps.” because having the same size but having a different style can make the work can have personality. Ellen videos make the types and grids look more fun and makes me want to player around with it more
