Courtney’s expressive type uses existing typefaces but uses them to make creative patterns using only the letters with no special major change to them, just pattern. Timothy Goodman uses multiple different styles for his type, some words having modern letters, some having slab letters, etc. He also relies on his heavy usage of saturated colors which give his compositions of words an “eyestrain” style. Alexa Edgerton has a unique style where she makes cakes that are shaped with letters. This is an example of both things I mentioned before. Her uniqueness shows in both the letter itself and the pattern/style surrounding it.
