The Potlatch book cover in the second to last image really caught my eye, The type face is serif. I like how that the title of the book was repeated in the bottom left corner, all on a diagonal axis is really creative. Also it has an illusion that the pattern isn’t forced and continues beyond the edges of the book.

I also especially like the cover of Nigel Barley Oantropólogo Inocente. The different axis and angles and sizes of the serif lettering has a very natural fallen disarranged look, and it still works. It is readable and interesting. Both covers are very unique artistic way, and they challenge you to take time and make out the titles.

“They challenge you to take the time” is a great description of these covers with paths and a Modern typeface.
