This is the 15th Street Station, which opened on October 7th, 1933 (coming up on 90 years!) The text on the signs is in Helvetica, used in basically every newly renovated station in New York that doesn’t have a mosaic sign. A little extra bit of info about this image is that I personally took this a few months ago when I went to visit the site of the picture below.
This was Desmond “Etika” Amofah, a YouTube streamer who meant a lot to me and who had died five years ago. Naturally, to pay my respects, I went and visited multiple locations he had been at, and my final destination was his memorial mural at 323 Scholes St. in Brooklyn.
