I believe that Ira Glass is first narrating the first podcast and inĀ the second one, theĀ musicalĀ Kurt Braunohler is narrating . I personally think they both incorporate and emphasize more than one point of view because in the podcast, the voices change and there are so many different people being interviewed and giving their own personal experiences and opinions. It happens to be more of an informed conversation. It isĀ not only reflective but also includes a whole lot ofĀ character dialogue, by using each of the characters’ own perspective and point of view. The musical seems to give off a happy energetic vibe and transitions from the narrator himself to the characters later on . Listening to the podcast give of a relaxing serious tone, while watching the musical compared to the article and the podcast is so different because it gives off a new optimistic view of what occurred, expecting every part of the musical with glee.

I’m glad you noticed the differences in the genres. The genre someone chooses when presenting material can really affect the way that material is absorbed by the reader/viewer.
From reading your response, I see that it wasn’t clear which podcast to listen to. So I have now made that clearer on the link (thank you!).
