Week 10: Monday, 10/26 – Friday, 10/30

Mid-term pause!

Students,

Take this next week to catch up on any assignments you have not done for this class. If you are all caught up, use this time to do research on your chosen topic — you will eventually need three sources for the Annotated Bibliography. I will be posting more guidance on the Annotated Bibliography project soon, but for now, try to find good, credible sources that address the issue you’ve chosen.

I am now reading your Education Narratives (along with all other short writing assignments), and I will be posting your mid-term grades on Blackboard on Thursday, October 29th.

Note: there is no mid-term exam for this class; instead, your mid-term grade consists of the grade you receive on the final draft of your Education Narrative as well as your participation thus far, which is based on the effort and thought you’ve put into the shorter assignments and the Education Narrative rough draft.

Important: After Thursday, October 29th, I will not accept any assignments from the first half of the semester (Aug. 26-Oct. 29). This includes the Education Narrative. Essentially, if you have missed a lot of work from the first half of the semester (especially the Education Narrative essay) there is a good possibility you will not pass the class.
