Communicating with Mind and Soul

A NO-the-R DAY

This project was inspired by Billy’s question of whether or not we could use the word “another” while writing together during our last class (the lipogram). I found it a pretty poetic question.  Thank you, Billy.

Instructions: we write, in the comments. Same concept. The constraint is NO “the.”

First comment is: No, this isn’t required writing. It is very cool, though. Collaborating on a pretty artistic level — and only after one day of class. Lots of potential here.

I know I’m responding a day late but I just saw this. Thank you professor:). I added a something to my writing to make it more “poetic”.

I’m a little nervous but here it goes

    ” Just a day,

    It’s a day every day.

Wake up every morning trying to live life

Go to class try to look life like

Everyone’s a critic telling you how to live life

Everyone else has a perfect life, living through daydreams. Those never change,

not everything might be as real as it seems. Life is strange “

This is Awesome, Billy! Great job.
Actually, you are not late. I conceived of this project (and I ought to talk about it in class, so please remind me), as an ongoing thing.

Got only three hours of sleep last night. Closed my eyes between classes and down my head went, nodding in light sleep.
    Uh-oh, time to arise.
    Showtime.
