I would like to confirm something, it is double spaced right?

    • Hi Mike,

Yes, your essay should be double-spaced. That means, for anyone not sure, that you should select the paragraphs you want double-spaced, go to Paragraph (you can get there by right-clicking in Word) and choosing Spacing: double. You can also press ctrl (or open Command on a Mac) and 2 at the same time to change the formatting to double-spaced. Please do not hit enter at the end of each line the way you would if you were using a typewriter–it makes using the grammar check difficult!

      Best,
      Prof. Rosen
