In my internship, I’ve been learning how to use and manage an e-commerce site using Wix. The site is very straight forward in terms of keeping track and updating products. My supervisor Miriam has been giving me a lot of tips and is being very patient with my learning. I’m learning that there is a lot more that goes into managing an e-commerce site even after the design aspect of it. You have to pay attention to the analytics and how to get your site reached. Whether it’s through Google or through social media everything gets accounted for. I’ve also learned how to create a good product page with images, descriptions, and more micro details.
