I choose the quote ” We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars”, because I feel like i can relate this to my own life growing up. Also it’s one of those rags to riches type of quote.
First Design
With this composition i was thinking of using colors and objects to give it the tone of the quote. The dirty green symbolizes the gutter, then with the rest of the quote i made the word “looking” actually looking at the stars.
Second Design
This composition was more of the straight forward solution, where I used the picture option. So i choose a picture that had the light shining down. I felt that the picture complimented with the meaning of the quote.I type that i choose was a type that has more of a gritty tone to have that “came from the gutter “feel.
Third Design
In this composition I made the first part of the quote a dirty green color with the silhouette of a kid looking up at the second part of the quote which is glowing to suggest the stars.
