Networking Event #2 | A Creative Perspective

Today’s spokesperson for “a creative perspective” was Brandon Rochon, CEO, and CCO of Kastner. He spoke about how to go from a creative to creator. His mindset of the world and creativity is very relatable and current. He talks about how we live in a world that is constantly being bombarded with content every day and how there is more content being made than the history of mankind. In saying that we ask ourselves how do we stay fresh and continue to create and he says the only way we can continue to create is to go from being a creative to becoming a creator. He mentioned how we must keep three things in mind ” Hypothesize, Prototype, and Pivot”. Meaning how we must question what will we create today, This is what I made today and what can I do to make it better. Brandon also spoke about “Super Powers” and how we all have one. Once we find that superpower or figure out what we are good at we should master it and make it prevalent. Once you have that superpower figure out your fluencies in terms of figuring out what you understand and what are you strong at. I felt like this was very important to watch because this is a real insight of how to push the envelope in creativity and it all starts with you as an individual and learning what your superpower is and how can you use it.
