Wow, Urgyen–that’s a powerful image of the tool Sethe used to kill her daughter. Which passage specifically are you representing? I see you have the words “saw blood” and wonder if you’re making a pun with the word saw since it can mean both a cutting tool and the past tense of see. Could you incorporate the passage in your image in any way? what if the words were a layer underneath the graphic image?
i used the pun word because you can see the blood and the handsaw that made the bloody seen.
