Course Syllabi
Many educators frame their syllabi as a “contract” with their students. While I believe that a syllabus should outline expectations, I don’t see the syllabus as a transactional document. Instead, I think of my syllabi as living documents that I use to establish the tone of each course, the opportunities for engagement, and community norms.
