The class Discord server has been created for students to discuss course content with one another. Participating in the class Discord discussion is optional but strongly encouraged (especially when completing WeBWorK).

Your instructor has access to the server but will not check it unless they have been alerted that they should (for example, if there is an instance of bullying).

Discord is a social media platform that the class will use for class-related purposes. Discussions should be professional, respectful, and on topic. If you already use Discord for your personal conversations, you may wish to create a separate account that you plan to use for professional purposes only.
