Gordon park chose camera as a weapon of choice to tackled social issues like racism, poverty, injustice and I agree he made a right choice. His works are amazing. I’m an photographer myself and after looking at his work, it has really inspired me. The composition of the photos, the heavy contrast, the angle, the depth of field, the quietness in the subject really work together to tell story of the situation. he said that he’s an objective reporter with a subjective heart and I think that reflects on his work. he shows the realness of the situation but also has that focus on the subject which expresses themselves.
