This week on chapter meeting we discussed about the events that were coming in a week or 2. there is a virtual gasfreenyc rally happening this week. there is a March for a new deal 4 cuny event coming in couple weeks. The march is going to start from Laguardia community college to CUNY school of LAW. we also have been sharing the higher ed petition in different platforms to get to more attention and signatures. In our straphanger meeting we talked about the MTA receiving more than $10 billion as a disaster relief fund and we as students discussed how the funds should be used. we had virtual gasfreenyc rally on Nov 17th at 11 am. we also had council member Alicka Amply-Samuel join us in the rally discussing why we need to pass this bill.
