Dr. Huderson currently serves as the Manager of Engineering Education at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), an adjunct professor of Biology at the University of the District of Columbia, and the founder and president of STEM Innovation Consulting.

At ASME, Dr. Huderson is responsible for advancing and managing the research, development, promotion, implementation, and assessment of products and services that will help colleges of engineering develop their curricula and faculty. As the founder and president of STEM Innovation Consulting, Dr. Huderson provides STEM educational consulting services that include professional development, project development and management, curriculum development, grant writing, and stakeholder networking to build strategic partnerships between industry, educators, researchers, and community activists.

Dr. Huderson has extensive experience as a skilled facilitator, leader, academic trainer, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) curriculum designer and advocate. Dr. Huderson has over 12 years of STEM outreach and advocacy in the community developing informal science programs, mentoring STEM majors, equipping parents with tools and resources to encourage their children in STEM, and providing culturally relevant science education pedagogy to teachers. Dr. Huderson also works with local and Federal government agencies, non-profits, and academic institutions to provided leadership support for programs that foster an inclusive climate for pre-collegiate and collegiate STEM students.
