After reading chapter 1 of “Truth and Beauty”, I enjoy the way the author can be descriptive of different events making the reader picture what she wrote. I enjoyed how she befriended Lucy even though they previously didn’t speak to each other, to living together and creating a good friendship. I also enjoyed how descriptive the author was about the road trip in Tennessee. Showed how the friendship got stronger as time went on. My question is how Lucy dealt with cancer and who was her biggest supporter?
