Dialogue writing wasn’t bad at all. It definitely helps that we were instructed to take liberties and make something new, instead of just posting the text messages as-is. That made things much easier, because whereas before I would have to determine what messages threads would be good enough to post, now I would simply have to determine what message threads I can revise and make a proper screenplay out of. Which may seem like a harder task on paper, but it’s the opposite, as more simple text threads can be made more interesting, have depth added to them, etc. The process of then writing them, figuring out what to add and such in itself was fun too. The only annoying thing was having to repost each dialogue, as I put all four in one post the first time.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
