My experience with writing poetry was really good, because I love the concept of free writing, which you can do a lot in poems. I also like that you can format your poems anyway you like. Coming up with an idea of how I want to format and how I want to style my poem was difficult at first, but after reading over the poems from the website, I eventually thought of one in my own way. I enjoyed writing poems for this class, because I liked that you didn’t have to write a poem about a specific topic and that you could write about anything you like in anyway you like. The poems didn’t have to be in a specific style or voice, which I also liked. I enjoyed reading my classmates poems as well and their poems also helped me write my poems as well. Last but not least, I would love to continue writing poems for this class in the future.
