Marcius was walking with his best friend David, they were the typical one tall one short duo, Marcius being the tall dark haired boy with long hair going down to his eyes and David being the short blonde rambunctious boy. They were friends since middle school and found out they were in the same high school causing them to get closer.

Marcius and David were heading to their afterschool club, the gaming club. Marcius was the clubs president whereas David was the vice president. They tend to get around 10 people in their club room to play video games and chill out.

Then all of a sudden one of the new club members brought something to Marcius attention , “How come we have more multiplayer games than single player games Marcius?” the boy exclaimed holding up a hard copy of the latest Call of Duty game. To this Marcius replied, “this is because multiplayer games are superior than single player games-” However before he could finish his sentence his loud companion spoke up slamming the palms of his hands on the table he was sitting at to get his attention. “I told you that we need more single player games! They are works of art that must be appreciated for all to see!”

With a slight sigh Marcius would speak in his soft tone he often used to get his point across, “please don’t slam on the desk David we get enough complaints for you as it is..” the dark haired boy then grabbed a seat at the table his blonde counterpart was sitting. “also, you’re wrong multiplayer games allow for everyone to meet and be able to be themselves around others, freedom of expression if you will.”

BAM! Another slam on the desk as David raised his voice more than before, “You know damn well that they pack those types of games with a bunch of microtransaction bullshit! They do that to get money from all of you!” He sounded angry as he would glare at Marcius who had his hands on his face in annoyance from his friend continuing to be loud.

“First off, they make those microtransactions so that the player base is able to express themselves, making all of those weapon skins, sprays, maps, and dlc takes time and effort to do and the developers and artists need to be paid you know-” After this statement all of the club members would stop the games they were playing to listen in on what was going on.

David would lean back in his chair as he shook his head repeatedly in disagreement, “No, No, No, No! Single player games put way more effort into their story plot, environment, characters and their backstories!” Then a sudden slam was heard at the clubrooms door, it was Mr. Hendrickson their overseer for the club since every club needs at least one teacher to be watching over them from time to time. He would always have his long brown hair in a ponytail and his sunglasses on even during class periods. Known to be a chill but laid back teacher and when he means business he would get serious, “Alright Alright can you two knock it off! Us teachers are having a meeting on the bottom floor and even we can hear you both!”

Both of the boys would sit there quietly as the teacher lectured them for their misbehavior while everyone around them would continue to play their games as if nothing happened, so they wouldn’t get yelled at too. “Why are you two even arguing about this? Everyone knows that all games can be appreciated by anyone whether you can play them another or with others.” They both would nod in agreement as they laughed off their foolish actions from before.
