I think the main reason behind attracting people to this greek play who wouldn’t usually attend is because they wanted to show how it connects to the issues people face today. It was important to them to portray this in a creative way and to also honor Michael Brown’s death since that tragedy relates to this play in a way. The involvement of the police force with this play is to show them what it’s like in their perspective and as well as the other way around. At the end of the video we saw how they stand face to face with the police and after talking more in depth about each other’s lives and what they face within their jobs, they start to understand each other more. Watching this play did change my perspective of things because I didn’t think for a second that the play would relate to an issue we have going on now but that proved me wrong. Overall, it was an amazing play to watch.
