COVID vaccines mandates, city workers are going to be on unpaid leave if they are not vaccinated by the deadline and I remember hearing that the mayor said he’s doing this mandates because once people think about risking their job, their paycheck they will get the vaccine and its very hard for people to trust in the system and that seems a bit unfair in a few ways. Most people are not able to do the vaccines because of religious or medical expectations. There are right now 1,600 fired workers that are unvaccinated.
Questions
are there other options for people that are unpaid leave?
Are COVID vaccines in the future going to be mandatory now and not just voluntary?
How will this effect overall businesses/company (since it’s toward more to “city workers”)?
Yes I understand Valentinas social issues, Her first two questions can be answered in just a no or yes format but can also be openminded. The last question can not be answered in just a yes or no format. instead of staying “are there other options” maybe change it to ” what other options are there”.
