Some adjectives that come to mind for antigone would be passionate, brave , strong and prideful. She wants to go against creon’s orders for her brother and she doesn’t care that it’s a man’s fight and women can’t have a say in that. For ismene i would describe her as someone who is caring and loyal as she cares for her brothers and sister but she doesn’t want to go against Creon so I would also describe her as someone who would be worried about going against the norm. In my opinion i would pick saoirse ronan as antigone because she’s been in movies where her character goes hand in hand with the characteristics of antigone. Both caring, loud and brave people who want change, we see those in the movies “lady bird” and “little women”.
