My preparation for this project is really simple. I mainly need to summarize the main facts from my U2 writing, and format them so they are easy to read. I plan to add a short artist’s statement with it, that also has my experiences with NYC’s mental health services. I want to target health institutions who emphasize physical symptoms, but make it a taboo to discuss mental symptoms.

Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!

The OpenLab is an open-source, digital platform designed to support teaching and learning at City Tech (New York City College of Technology), and to promote student and faculty engagement in the intellectual and social life of the college community.
Although the draft, is late, this infographic was pretty easy to create. I have experience with Canva, and I think my U2 was pretty detailed as is, it was quite easy to pull facts and simplify them.
