This semester, I experienced a different type of writing for this specific class. Because all the assignments that we did were based on our thoughts, we put a lot of our own opinion. In particular, the unit 1 assignment where we talked about our discourse community where we put our own life experience to write that paper was also my first time writing an amusing speech. So in my perspective, this assignment was not to write because it is based on ourselves. I’m very proud of my speech to represent my nationality. Unit 2 annotated bibliography was a new writing style I learned this semester. Still, I did have a hard time finding good articles on the topic I chose because all the articles were very similar. Still, I did have fun doing this assignment, and unit 3, which was connected to unit 2, made the project easier to do because it was basically about the topic we picked and had to show how we would present to our audiences.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 1 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
