The genre for my multimodal project is going to be audiovisual, or a video, to be more specific.

The audience will be mostly adult Americans. However, my gun violence topic could also be of interest to teenagers, especially students.

The written component will be integrated with the video. I will need a computer and some video editing/creating software. I might also need a microphone in case I want to add speech to the video.

I’ve been working on the technical side of my project. I still have to decide if I’m going to include background videos or just still images. The advantage of using images is that it’s easier to add text. I’m also checking out some software to create this type of media. I also have to organize the order of the ideas presented.
