It was easier for me to express my thoughts through speech, because I felt like the audience were in front of me. I have done it before few times which is why I was comfortable with it. Not only that, it was easier for me to express nicely because instead of mentioning it to one person I knew who my audience was. The pieces we reviewed by A.O.C., Young, Douglass, and Wollstonecraft helped me create my piece by comparing it to my own life examples. I felt like when I was connecting the issues with my own life examples, it was easier to get through audiences. What I learned myself as a writer that, when you are well aware of the topic that you want to talk about, everything gets easy by itself. I knew in my head what is the topic that was significant to me and why I want to discuss it which is why it was easier for me connect to the audience.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 1 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
