In the letter Wollstonecraft talks about the women in the French Revolution Era. The reason why Wollstonecraft sees this issue as a problem is because women should live according to themselves. In the letter she argues women are no less than men and they deserved to get their basic rights. She mentions in the letter that the difference between sexes it’s not something natural, whereas it’s due to lack of education. I believe the discourse community Wollstonecraft identifies as, is about all those helpless women in the French Revolution Era. Wollstonecraft wrote the letter to M. Talleyrand-Périgord and he does not seem to be a part of this group.

Young’s discourse community is people with disabilities. The problems she points out in the video are, how disabled people looked down, misconception about disabled people, how social media makes fun of disabled people. Young sees the issue as a problem because disabled people are not what the society thinks it is. Disabled people are not always inspirational, they can be ordinary too. Her intended audience are people with disability and without disability.
