One specific moment I think useful and want to try out as a reader is what he mentions about the authors purpose. Mike Bunn comments that author is trying to reach a group of people, so his writing technique might vary depending on said group. This to me is very important because if you cant identify who the author is talking to your gonna have a harder time trying to figure out what the purpose is, especially if his goal is to send a message to certain people. Improving on this type of skill would heave me find the authors purpose faster then reading the text and having to find everything from scratch instead of starting of asking myself “What is the audience the author is trying to reach out to” and ” what type of writing is this author going for”.
