One information that I found useful from “How to Read Like a Writer” is when the author mentions on what it means to actually read like a writer. Especially in the section of “What is means to read like a writer”, “Instead of trying to read for content… try to read for content to understand how the piece of writing was put together.” The sentence afterwards would express more of the idea on how the audience could understand different techniques that was used in an authors writing. This is useful for me so as I read other authors text, I could learn what skills/techniques was used so I can open up to new writing skills and improve on it.
