To be really honest, I think younger kids (preteens) should realize that their upbringing has a big impact on their values, beliefs, and behavior, and that this influence also extends to the lifestyle choices they make in their lifetimes. For this reason, I would like to share this information with them. Family, societal, and cultural contexts have a big impact on how someone views schooling, career aspirations, and interpersonal connections. Understanding these elements helps foster compassion, empathy, and a comprehensive appreciation for the variety of life management techniques used by people. But this could also lead to certain issues or presumptions about how lifestyle is influenced by upbringing, such as the notion that socioeconomic position is important and that those from wealthier backgrounds have more opportunities. There are fears about the potential impact of cultural and familial norms on individual choices, as well as assumptions that early experiences shape long-term habits and perspectives. There may also be reflections on the ways in which education and social networks influence an individual’s life path.
