The allegory describes the people inside the cave, and they can only see the shade of themselves in front of them. They believe that these shadows are the only reality. And they don’t know and can’t say anything outside the cave how it looks. Where there is a real world. One prisoner was released, and they took him outside the cave. He was surprised by seeing the natural beauty for the first time outside the cave. The allegory is a metaphor for the human state and the expedition toward understanding. The cave describes the world of color, which is a twisted version of reality. The allegory describes the significance of education and the following: understanding in a release from ignorance and gaining a deeper knowledge of the real world.
