my overall experience with the Unit 1 writing assignment was that it was pretty easy and I got the gist of it very fast. Thanks to past experiences, writing this essay was very straight forward and I had a lot to write about. I think reading shitty first drafts helped a lot since some of the points and language that the writer used made me understand more on what I should and shouldn’t do in an essay so that was nice to see. It was a refresher and took off some of the questions I had before writing this essay.

Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
Course Description: A course in effective essay writing and basic research techniques including use of the library. Demanding readings assigned for classroom discussion and as a basis for essay writing.
