I have chosen public service announcements because I believe it to be the most useful to grab peoples attentions and inform them about gun violence from the sources found on u2’s work I had done. the paragraphs would be short since since to inform them of recent gun laws being discussed. imagery is used sometimes to show the 2nd person view of the issue. it would be a 3rd person informative piece of information being spread, usually the genre would be one person talking and being serious to grab the attention of the audience by informing them briefly by scare tactics. its organization is like a speech and its format would be problem cause solution. basically my genre is mostly accessible by everyone and mostly schools, police stations, advertisements, and etc. the people who would create it are people who want to inform like teachers, MTA news posters, amber alerts, and etc. this quote stood out to me because “Public service is about serving all the people, including the ones who are not like you” by Constance Wu its talking about how tp effectively use psa.
