The paragraph is long and short because it describes the event that he/she is presenting. The overall piece is one page long but for mine, it’s going to be longer. Imagery is kinda being used here because it does show you pictures but you have to do imagery yourself to imagine what is happening to them. It is written in the First person point of view. This is a quotation but it doesn’t seem to be dialogue usage. The purpose is to reveal what nature is facing currently with its current problems. It is organized by a brief summary and then pictures that relate to the problem and the summary so it is all connected. This photo essay was published by American Scientific Affiliation. She/he was most likely a reporter and a creative writer to write this piece. “It’s a reminder that we are all connected to every living thing that surrounds us and that we need to stop and take time to notice and enjoy,” (Limone, The Faces of Nature). I chose this quote because it really shows us that we don’t pay attention enough to our environment to enjoy it. This quote really connects to everyone due to the fact that this quote bonds with everything and whoever reads this will feel touched and agree with this quote.

Class Meetings & Times: Mondays & Wednesdays, 2-3:40 PM, in Namm 519
Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 – 1 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
