I find writing simple in general so writing my education narrative was a quick and seamless process. I had a good idea of what I wanted to write and how I was going to writing before I started. It’s very easy to write about ones self and our own experiences. Personally, the experience I wrote about was one that really affected me and changed me as a student. When I first wrote my draft I had no plans to use dialogue until we discussed in class what could make a piece of writing more engaging. My draft helped me a lot in achieving the final product I wanted because while I was revising my draft I ended up using dialogue to make sure the reader would get a better idea of what what going on. Using dialogue actually helped me remember small details that I forgot about that period of time. It allowed my writing to be more full and helped me fully convey what that time period was like for me as well as helping me finishing up my narrative essay.

Class Meetings & Times: Mondays & Wednesdays, 2-3:40 PM, in Namm 519
Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 – 1 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
